Martin is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master of Arts in Psychology and a Master of science in Education. He is a Clinical member of The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and has been a board member of the Group Psychotherapy Association of Southern California.
He has been involved in the many paths of the Los Angeles lifestyle, from helping individuals and families in South Central Los Angeles achieve their academic goals for over twenty years, to having mentored actors as the head of his own theatrical agency.

With over 13 years experience as a psychotherapist and 23 years as a credentialed counselor for LAUSD, Martin is skilled in marriage mediation, with training from the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has been a Crisis Therapist for the National Foundation for the Treatment of the Emotionally Handicapped.
Martin has created and conducted seminars and workshops in the greater LA area on Relationships, Grief, Loss and Transition, Crisis management, Performance Anxiety and Creativity, Critical Incidence Debriefing, Team Building and Solutions for Organizations, and Understanding Your Teen. Martin has been used as an expert resource for newspapers, journals and websites.
